Description
This is a critical thinking practice activity for children with communication and language disorders. Children need to learn how to think critically about information so that they can comprehend and effectively communicate. They need to know how to make logical inferences when provided information. Children with language disorders need targeted intervention to acquire these skills. In this practice activity, children will answer questions about age relevant topics from a field of 4 text choices. Over time, they will build their critical thinking skills. This deck is made purposefully for use during teletherapy or in person speech/language therapy. It’s ideal for autistic children and those with learning disabilities and language disorders. It is purposefully made with text only visuals to build literacy skills. You’ll be amazed how much some children can learn without the picture prompts.
