Welcome to Building Successful Lives Speech & Language Services. Tamara Anderson, M.S., Ed.S., CCC-SLP is the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of this pediatric speech/language pathology practice. Ms. Anderson is an ASHA nationally certified speech-language pathologist, education specialist,  and SLP success coach who designs informal assessments and therapeutic activities for therapists to use with children. Ms. Anderson provides speech, language, and literacy evaluations as well as therapy for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.  As a coach, she enjoys teaching and guiding pediatric speech-language pathologists on how to improve their work productivity and efficiency while maintaining their focus on building speech and language skills in diverse clients and learners. As an educational specialist and consultant, she promotes student gains in communication, language, and literacy. Ms. Anderson has expertise in providing speech, language, and literacy services for children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. She has specialized training in educational assessment, curriculum design,  differentiated instruction, and special education for diverse learners.

Tamara Anderson has 18 years combined experience working as a pediatric and adult speech-language pathologist. She has skillfully managed diverse caseloads and balanced work tasks in the school, early intervention, outpatient pediatric clinic, hospital, private practice, and teletherapy settings. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with receptive/expressive language disorders, specific learning disabilities, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency disorders,  autism, intellectual disabilities, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. Ms. Anderson is knowledgeable about cognitive-linguistic evaluations and rehabilitative treatment for adult clients as well with neurological deficits (e.g. stroke).

Speech-language pathologists are highly skilled individuals who are passionate about improving the communication and life skills of their clients. However, there is a high volume of cases, extensive documentation required,  managing skills necessary to work with a variety of teams, and time constraints with meeting deadlines while delivering high-level results.  Tamara Anderson wants to help speech-language pathologists experience gratitude for the life-changing work that they do every day while enhancing their success and delivery of quality therapy services. Additionally, she desires children and adolescents to build functional communication, language, and literacy skills.

On the products page, speech-language pathologists have direct access to speech-language therapy data collection tools and intervention materials to maximize the success of children on your caseload. These resources will enhance your SLP work success by having ready-to-use materials. Keep in mind that it is best practice as an SLP and educator to use research-based techniques while facilitating the use of these products. During product development, Ms. Anderson integrates essential language/literacy skills for students’ success and methods from available research (e.g. semantic processing hierarchy, use of semantic maps, effective memory/learning strategies, narrative/language development ).

Ms. Anderson enjoys creating materials that will contribute to children making gains in their communication, language, and literacy skills. She looks forward to assisting speech-language pathologists to improve their work success. How? You will learn ways to effectively improve your SLP productivity and efficiency in the school, early intervention, and clinic settings. You will deliver speech-language therapy services in a manner that keeps kids engaged and making progress while considering multicultural needs.  Ms. Anderson will share quick and meaningful data collection methods and tools. You will gain new ideas about what to share with teachers and families to promote further gains in children’s speech-language skills.   You will have the confidence to deliver exceptional pediatric speech-language therapy services using best practices in the field.
