Description
It is very important for students to build their speech, language, and literacy skills.
There are five components of this essential Fiction & Non-Fiction Text Companion. Speech-language pathologists should use the activity pages with children and adolescents to work on their speech articulation, tier 2 vocabulary, knowledge of story elements, narrative, and summarizing skills. This text companion contains easy to use and no-prep activity pages. All you have to do is print and you’re ready to use with students.
After reading aloud a fiction and/or non-fiction selection of your choice, have the students complete the activity pages relevant to their speech/language therapy or IEP goals and objectives. Watch them learn and grow in their speech, language and literacy skills.
These speech-language activity pages are intended for therapeutic use with unlimited fiction books, passages, and non-fiction topics. You may use other informal assessment tools such as my Oral Story Retelling Rubric or Story Elements Data Check to collect data in the areas addressed in these activity pages..
There are 5 of the pages that are duplicates except the header. There are two headers for these pages that give you an option to print a header that says Speech-Language Class or Speech-Language Therapy on those 5 activity pages.
