Description

This is a free WH questions worksheet that accompanies Mooseltoe by Margie Palatini. Kids enjoy this story! If you don’t have the book, use the online (youtube.com) version. The worksheet is a quick basic listening comprehension check and it provides a field of 4 answer choices. There are 10 WH questions.

You can use this with students with language disorders, learning disabilities, mild/moderate intellectual disabilities, and autism. I enjoy seeing how much my students comprehend with a basic listening comprehension check after a story read aloud. Make sure that you pause while reading the book to model “think alouds,” emphasize key events, and vocabulary in the story. I even have children repeat key vocabulary and paraphrased descriptions of the events. This will help them recall the main idea, problem, solution, and a few details.

Make sure that you access my additional WH questions resources including my WH questions progress monitoring tool and other seasonal WH questions products.
